Char Dham Yatra is one of the famous Religious destinations for Hindus in Uttrakhand. Char Dham yatra is famous of fours destinations namely Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. According to Hindu traditions piligrimages begins form the West and ends in the East, so the Char Dham Yatra starts from Yamunotri then proceed to Gangotri and then Kedarnath and Badrinath. Every Dham has its own importance and devotes to a specific deity. Kedarnath is famous for Lord Shiva. Kedarnath is also a part of the Panch Kedar. It is the northernmost Jyotirlinga and is close to the source of the holy River Mandakini. Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is situated on the bank of the River Alaknanda. According to legend, Lord Vishnu meditated here.
